The past few years I’ve had the pleasure of playing and working with the amazing Frank Muffin. Led by Hans and Brittany Rees, a dynamic duo of killer songwriting and production, they came to me with the idea of taking some of their older, unreleased songs and giving them some soulful flare. They wanted horns, strings, and a vibe that was reminiscent of whatever road runs between Motown and Muscle Schoals.
