Hot off For the Price of One and Live from Lafayette, me and the guys in Three Cities were beginning to find our stride and wanted to put forth a more-concise, focused rock n roll effort. In addition to some riffs I’m proud of, Serious MEtAL Illness gave me an opportunity to flex my lyric-writing chops, contributing more lines to this album than any project I’d worked on before. There were lyrics silly (Serious MEtAL Illness) to serious (Too Far Gone) mixed in with my verse contributions to my personal favorite song of ours Risky Chance.

We also produced a video for Risky Chance with a script co-written by myself and Brad Pendleton. I also (shittily) played the story’s antagonist ‘Brock’ lol. We shot this video at the bar formerly known as Bobby T’s in West Lafayette, IN across a 3-day period in 2019 and released the video to help promote the April release of the album.
